WeTrain was built from day one with athlete safety at the center. Every trainer is vetted, every payment is protected, and every session is traceable.
Checkr background checks
Every trainer undergoes a comprehensive background check through Checkr before they can accept bookings. We review criminal history, sanctions, and sex-offender registry status.
Government ID verification
Trainers and parents both upload a government-issued ID. Our admin team verifies each submission for profile authentication.
Parent-approved for minors
Athletes under 18 must have a parent or guardian create and manage the account. Parents approve every booking, can message trainers directly, and receive session confirmations.
Secure Stripe payments
All payments are processed through Stripe Connect with escrow-style holds. Funds are only released to the trainer after the session is completed and confirmed.
AI-powered moderation
WeTrain uses AI moderation to review trainer profiles, session listings, and in-app messages for inappropriate content or off-platform contact attempts. Suspicious activity is flagged for human review.
