What is WeTrain?

WeTrain is the authentic mobile app for NCAA and K-12 student-athletes. WeTrain matches K-12 parents with NCAA student-athletes in order to complete one-on-one training sessions, sit-down mentor sessions, and group sessions with their children.

How do I know my child is ready for this level of instruction?

We recommend that parents assess their children in three areas:a. Does your child want to participate in extra training beyond their team or club?b. Has your child requested to participate in the sport or is the parent forcing them?c. Does your child genuinely enjoy the sport or do they complain about it a lot?

Can I leave my child with the WeTrain athlete?

No, unless your child is over 18. We require that parents remain at the training site with their kids for each session. If a parent must leave, you must sign a waiver before departure and upon return to ensure that the session was held as contracted.

How are the athletes selected?

Our athletes go through a rigorous selection process, designed to ensure that they have: a. The physical skills to provide high quality athletic/mental instruction.b. Proven character skills to mentor youthc. Have met our background requirements.

What does the monthly fee cover?

The $9.99/mo ($7.99/mo annually) subscription allows parents and mentees to join the app! Also, reserved access to WeTrain Academy, WeTrainU, and much more!

How do users book sessions?

Trainers will set their available times through the Session Calendar and parents will be able to book through the Session Calendar as well. Sessions can also be booked directly through the Trainer's profile.

What age groups is WeTrain for?

WeTrain is specified for K-12th grade student-athletes or anyone who wants to train with a college athlete!

Will Apple Pay be available for session payment?

Yes! Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle, Stripe, Cashapp, and PayPal will be implemented in our first update.

What is the WeTrain session cancellation policy?

Depending on the time of cancellation, if a College athlete has to cancel they will receive a small dink in their rating and if a parent has to cancel they will owe a small portion of the session.

Will there be a tip option available?

Yes!

What if I have multiple children who play sports?

Parents, you will have to make a separate account for each child with a different email.

Are group sessions available?

Yes!

How do the trainers get paid?

Session payments and tips go directly to the trainer on the app, which they can then transfer to their bank account.

What sports are offered on WeTrain?

WeTrain offers a variety of sports! These include Football, Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Baseball, Ice Hockey, Field Hockey, Indoor & Beach Volleyball, Track & Field, Fencing, Golf, Tennis, Cricket, Rowing, Badminton, Softball, Swimming, Wrestling, Skiing, Water Polo, Cross Country, Bowling, Pickleball, Boxing, Fencing , Chess, Spikeball, and Indoor & Outdoor Athletics (General Fitness).

What differentiates WeTrain from other platforms?

Which divisions are offered on WeTrain?

Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, JUCO, Professional athletes, and Top Trainers around the world.

What if my child does not play a field/court sport?

For any sports that do not require a field or court (Golf, Swimming, Gymnastics, Water Polo, Skiing, Rowing, Bowling, etc.), parents must cover the location accessibility fee plus the session payment.
