We’re looking to challenge the classic gym/studio model. We don’t tie you in to memberships and we don’t have one fixed location. This has given us the freedom and flexibility to explore more of London, work with a whole range of small businesses and meet so many new and inspiring individuals who are passionate about what they do.
This week we’re sharing some of our favourite venues Brixton, Battersea and Clapham. These places are so much more than a generic fitness studio with swipe cards and bad showers! Each has it’s own story and charm..
Fresh Ground Coffee
68 Battersea Rise
Tucked away on Battersea Rise, Fresh Ground is one of South West London’s best kept secrets. It’s studio is bright and oozing with charm, whilst just next door, the cafe serves up quality coffee and an array of tempting sweet treats including apricot flapjacks and almond croissants, just perfect for post workout treats.
Just a few minutes walk from Brixton tube station, Studio B is a fully equipped, brightly light dance studio and is perfect for our HIIT sessions; check out James Tickner and Victoria Winterford’s sessions.
The Bright Emporium
103-105 St John’s Hill
The Bright Emporium is a creative space which welcomes all different ideas, concepts and ages. It’s great to be part of such a diverse and lively space that promotes trying out new experiences and creativity. Head here for yoga & barre.
The Northcote Pub
2 Northcote Road
A fitness class in a pub? Yes indeed, because at WeTrain we’re all about living by the ‘work hard, play hard motto.’ After a busy week, restore yourself with a Saturday morning yoga class at the beautiful Northcote pub, then chill out with your friends and enjoy a bloody Mary on us. We also recommend the brunch menu for all eggporn loving instagrammers, it won’t disappoint.
